[Mike]: Sorry Kyle.
[Baer]: We have the head- we'll get the money!
[rob]: okay!
[Baer]: Where's the wolf?
[Baer]: I light a torch and drop into the cellar
[rob]: who cares
[Mike]: The wolf is in the cellar.
[rob]: what?.
[Baer]: Any treasure, anywhere?
[Baer]: Anything?
[Mike]: Otherwise, the cellar is empty.
[Baer]: Ivory combs?
[rob]: why is ther a wolf in the celler
[Baer]: That's the other wolf. I take it that its now dead
[Baer]: It's the normal wolf that was helping Dobbin
[rob]: is it alive?
[Mike]: Yes--it's Dobbin's other wolf and it's dead.
[Mike]: Upstairs...
[rob]: oh....... Baer does some serious treasure hunting
[Mike]: Under the most solid section of roof is the creature's bed.
[rob]: thats got to be good
[Mike]: Scattered about are numerous shiny objects.
[Baer]: Like what- gold, jewlry? Tinfoil?
[Mike]: Among the buttons and trinkets, you find 58 copper pieces, 8 silver, 14 gold.
[rob]: and
[Mike]: Tucked under the bedding are several books and a small harp.
[Baer]: I check out the books
[rob]: really
[rob]: cool harp I strum it
[Mike]: The books are all ancient history and philosophy. Tales of the gods--that sort of thing. One however is a book of fairy tales.
[Baer]: I take the fairy tales and look for anything having to do with the creature
[Mike]: The harp is in good shape. It gives a good tone.
[Baer]: Fuck it, I pack up the books and will look through them later
[Baer]: Let's go get Dobbin
[Mike]: Kyle has the books.
[rob]: lets go to town
[Mike]: Rob has the harp.
[Mike]: You split the money.
[Mike]: Fast forward to Dobbin.
[rob]: yes
[Baer]: We split the money- 80/20
[Mike]: He's alive. Flinn is here.
[Mike]: Everyone is very impressed by the beast's head.
[rob]: were can we collect our reward?.
[Baer]: We give Flinn a terse look and without saying anything trudge back into town to get our reward
[Baer]: Give him the big fuck-you, basically
[rob]: yes
[Mike]: Dobbin is saddened by the loss of his wolves. Flinn thanks you and apologizes.
[Baer]: We ignore them without speaking and go back to town
[Mike]: My original plan was to pull a pied piper and have the town council refuse to pay you, but Flinn speaks on your behalf and you receive the full 280.
[Baer]: Cause he owes us a favor
[Mike]: Flinn also asks for his mirror back.
[rob]: what happened to the 500
[Baer]: We give him the mirror back- don't ever want to see him again.
[Mike]: What do you do with the head?
[Baer]: We take our money and tell them to remember who saved their town.
[rob]: hey guys great adventure but I have to go to bed
[Baer]: Give it to Flinn, I don't care.
[Baer]: Bye rob- talk to you tommorrow
[Mike]: BTW--the beast was a Bhaergala. |
