At Animalball Games, we have only one goal in mind: to provide you with the most shocking, titillating and provocative viewpoints on role-playing games on a monthly basis. This is why we created the Safford Files.
We decided that gaming articles had lost their edge. They had transformed into puerile fluff that was neither interesting nor useful to the average gamer. In the neverending pursuit of the almighty dollar, the "major" gaming publications focused on producing crap articles about crap games. Those companies forgot what was really important: you.
So we created the Safford Files to fill the void created by the inane pabulum the major publications spat at you in the past. We have deserted the publishing "norms." No longer restricted by meaningless tradition and conventions, we have discarded such publishing trivialities such as proofreading, grammar, spellcheck and editing. Instead we want to give you articles and opinions which bristle with the raw, unbridled passion we have for gaming. We want to provide you gaming articles which can be described in three simple words:
Shocking, titillating and provocative.
But then we remembered we were writing articles about role-playing games. So, frankly, it proved quite impossible to write anything that was shocking or titillating, much less provocative. But we wrote some interesting stuff. So I suppose that's something. Without further ado, we present...
