Caption This Photo- By Kyle

"If you are going to waste time on the internet with only one mindless game this year, you must waste that time with Caption this Photo."Readers Digest, May 2005.

"The simplicity of Caption this Photo couples seamlessly with the brilliant and humorous foundation it is built upon. Simultaneously insulting and endearing, Caption this Photo has proven to be an enduring enigma that has fascinated a generation." James Lipton, Inside the Gamers' Studio, February 12, 2005.

"It is unacceptable and appalling that Caption this Photo continues to disrespect the rights and interests of alternative gamers. We will continue the boycott of Animalball Games until it discontinues the Caption this Photo feature." Jeremy Sassler on behalf of the National Association for Live Action Role Players, Annual Convention, July 8, 2005.

Caption this Photo is a staple of the Animalball Games Message Boards. The premise is simple. The ABG administrators choose a photograph, post it to the boards, and visitors to the message boards then post up a caption for the photo. The practice speaks for itself. Because ABG's visitors are extremely clever and funny, the captions have been hysterical. But some are funnier than others, and thus we find ourselves inducting our first three captions into the Animalball Games/Caption this Photo Hall of Fame. Without further ado, the inaugural inductees are:

"Be the tree. Be the tree. If I don't move he can't see me. Be the tree."

"Overcome by banjo music and hog calling, R2D2 unfortunately 'turned to the dark side' and had his droid way with this young man."

"When Frankenstein asked him if he had tried warm soapy water, Helmet Head lost it and clubbed him into unconsciousness."
