This is the Qualifying Group #3. You are voting for the "best" monster in this group-- you decide what "best" means. This poll will stay open until Tuesday. The top vote-getter will move on to the 16-monster, single elimination tournament. Click here for the official rules post.

Advocating your favorite monster in this thread is encouraged. Feel free to berate the ones you don't want, and tout the ones you do.

I hate to do this to my beloved Frost Giant (sorry, Scanlon), but nothing beats a minotaur. It wins on bad-assery, classic monster, general prevalence. This is no contest in my mind.

The only one that gets no love from me is the Azer. It has that Forgotten Realms "Lets make race for every element and just toss 'em in. It'll be fun, I promise." feel to it.

Frost giants are cool but they are mostly just another big guy but they also like the cold.

Minotaurs are fun and remind me of Keep on the Borderlands (cave I?).

I totally dig the Azer. I love the feel to them, and I used them to create the Half-Azer race for Ulloch. Awesome stuff.

But none of these compare to minotaur. Sorry Azer.

I like the Azer, and the frost giant is always fun. But, like everyone else, gotta give my love to the minotaur, mostly for sheer general awesome.
